David Wilson is a positive, visionary, optimistic and authentic leader with a blend of public, private and academic experience. He is currently Managing Director of Cities and Regions Ltd., Chair of EconomicDevelopment New Zealand, and on the Independent Advisory Board of theProvincial Growth Fund, a $3 Billion regional development fund designed to support growth in provincial regions.
David’s expertise primarily lies in regional economic development including local and regional economic development, innovation systems, enterprise, industry and sector development, tourism, events, government and governance, corporate citizenship, civic leadership, sustainable and socio-economic development.
David lives in West Auckland with his family who enjoy discussing politics, development, philosophy, and holidaying together in the far north.
